JobWorks, Inc. Earns Workforce First Champion Designation

JobWorks, Inc. is proud to announce it has been recognized as a Workforce First Champion by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce — a designation that honors Indiana employers leading the way in workforce development and long-term talent investment.

The Workforce First program, launched by the Institute for Workforce Excellence, a subsidiary of the Indiana Chamber, recognizes employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to building sustainable talent pipelines and preparing employees for long-term success. Organizations are evaluated across several workforce development areas, including employee upskilling and reskilling, work-based learning opportunities, employee support systems, and collaboration with workforce and education partners.

JobWorks, Inc. was named a Champion, the program’s highest designation level, in recognition of its established and ongoing efforts to cultivate talent, support career advancement, and strengthen Indiana’s workforce.

“At JobWorks, we believe investing in people is the foundation of strong businesses and thriving communities,” said John Casella, Chief Growth Officer of JobWorks, Inc. “Receiving the Workforce First Champion designation validates the work our team does every day to connect individuals with meaningful career opportunities while helping employers build the skilled workforce they need for the future.”

The Workforce First initiative was created to spotlight employers that serve as active partners in workforce development alongside schools, training providers, workforce boards, and community organizations.

“Talent is the lifeblood of our economy, which is why it’s so critical for employers to act as co-developers of the workforce alongside education providers,” said Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber. “We created the Workforce First program to recognize and honor employers who are doing their part to help employees – and thereby their companies and the state – thrive.”

As a workforce solutions provider, JobWorks has long focused on helping individuals gain access to training, career pathways, and employment opportunities that lead to long-term success. Through partnerships with employers, community organizations, and workforce development agencies, JobWorks continues to create innovative solutions that address workforce challenges while empowering job seekers across Indiana.

The Champion designation reflects JobWorks’ commitment to not only filling jobs, but also developing talent through strategic workforce initiatives, hands-on support, and opportunities for career growth. From supporting employers with customized staffing and training solutions to helping individuals overcome barriers to employment, JobWorks remains dedicated to building a stronger workforce for Indiana’s future.

The Workforce First recognition reinforces JobWorks’ mission to invest in people, strengthen communities, and help Indiana businesses thrive in an evolving economy.
